The Standogensis Virus is a reverse-engineered virus meant to force the manifestation of a Stand on its host. Created by Tracker the Dog, it was created using the DNA of Shizuka Joestar and Josuke Higashikata.
It functions in many ways like the original Stand virus of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure universe, activating dormant genetic code that then causes a Stand to manifest in those with sufficient willpower.
