Mary Jane Watson, later known by her superhero name Bloody Mary, is a character in Marvel comics and Sam Raimi's Spider-Man film series. She obtains powers in Spider-Man: The Other Chronicles after being bit by a radioactive spider. This version of the character was created entirely by AI Dungeon, by asking it for various details.

In the films, she is portrays by Kirsten Dunst.

History

The AI has stated that this version of Watson is from the same universe as the Raimi films, and thus her backstory up until present is considered to be the same as the canon character.

Bloody Mary

Sometime after the events of Spider-Man 3, Mary Jane Watson and Peter Parker broke up. In the year 2021, Watson is now working as a high school teacher. She is also living with her now best friend and roommate, Felicia Hardy. While at Felicia's apartment, Mary Jane gets bit by a radioactive spider. This gives her spider-like powers, like her former boyfriend Peter.

Powers & Abilities

  • Super Strength: Bloody Mary had the strength of a spider.
  • Cornea Impermeability: Bloody Mary's eyes were covered with a membrane, protecting them from harsh substances.
  • Bloody Webbing: Bloody Mary had the ability to shoot webbing from her wrists.
  • Wall-Crawling: Bloody Mary could crawl on walls with her hands and feet.
  • Spider-Sense: Bloody Mary had a sixth sense, telling her when she was in danger.

Trivia

  • In the original drafts of Spider-Man, Watson was already the superhero Bloody Mary. She learned of Peter Parker's secret identity and they both fought crime together. This story was considered "too dark" by Vladamir Vidic, and was changed to Mary Jane being a simple damsel in distress.
