Wreck climbs up to the top of the hill and enters the front door of the dilapidated stone building. Inside he is greeted by a cold narrow hallway, with small cells on either side. “Hello?” he yells out. No answer. “There must be no one here,” he said to himself. | |||
He stops to think, only to hear a very faint voice coming from underneath him: “Ow! Quit struggling already!” Wreck spins around, looking for some sort of trap door or staircase. He notices out of the corner of his eye a small square cutout in the floor. He tugs on the handle, but it seems to be locked from the inside. | |||
He shakes his head, and stomps on the trapdoor as hard as he can, causing it to break open. He jumps down the hole, and lands in a room directly in front of a robot he does not recognize. “ᴍɪꜱᴛ, ʟᴏᴏᴋ ᴡʜᴏ ᴅᴇᴄɪᴅᴇᴅ ᴛᴏ ᴊᴏɪɴ ᴜꜱ,” the robot says. | |||
Wreck notices Mist in the corner of the room, struggling to get Frankie to move somewhere. “FRANKIE! I’m here to save you!” Wreck yells out. This causes Frankie to raise her head, smiling. “You’re not going anywhere,” Mist said, dropping Frankie to the ground. “Databyte, destroy him.” | |||
Databyte lifts up his arm cannon and aims directly at Wreck. Wreck does a backflip, dodging the first shot. He then dashes towards Frankie, sliding under a second shot. He slides straight into Mist, trying to knock him over. Mist only stumbles back. Wreck gets back on his feet, only to be punched in the gut by Mist. He goes to punch back, but Mist dodges it, landing another punch to his jaw. Wreck grits his teeth, cocks his head, and roundhouse kicks Mist, knocking him onto the floor. “Stay down,” Wreck says. | |||
He turns to Frankie, and in one swift motion snaps the metal cuffs off of her. “Wow. I’m never usually this strong,” he says to himself. “Wreck sweetie, stay focused!” Frankie yells. “Jenny is over there in the other corner, you have to get her. I’ll hold off Databyte!” She jumps up into the air, flying over Databyte’s head. | |||

Wreck and Frankie both take off the Sol devices, and remove the emeralds from them. They turn around to see Mist and Databyte running down the hill after them. They both throw the devices to the ground, and hide the emeralds. Out of nowhere, an icy beam hits Mist and Databyte, freezing them solid. “Oh no, not again…” Wreck says. “What? What’s going on?” Jenny asked. | |||
