The Sol Emeralds (ソルエメラルド Soru Emerarudo) are objects that appear in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. They are a set of seven emeralds of great power from the Sol Dimension. They are, by custom, protected by the Sol Empire's imperial princess, with their current guardian being Blaze the Cat.
A select few with a strong enough bond with the emeralds can attain a transformation with them, comparable to the Super form of the Chaos Emeralds. The list of known Sol Emerald transformations include:
- Blaze the Cat (Burning Blaze)
- Raven the Gray Wolf (Ravenous Radiance)
- Sylvie Summers (Scorching Summers)
In addition, the following are able to use the Sol Emeralds indirectly, via the amplification of the Shoten Crystal or the Sol Chestplate. In all cases, the lack of alignment with the Sol Dimension causes the form to be weaker and shorter lived.
