As a boy, he was a huge fan of actor Tobey Maguire, and kept a photo of him at the Grand Canyon on his wall. He delivered pizzas as a teenager to help pay for his college education.
When the Inheritors were on the verge of massacring every Spider-person in the multiverse, members of the Spider-Army created alt-realities to take all the spiders away from the Inheritors' reach. When the plan was set in motion, Billy Braddock (Spider-UK) recruited several of his fellow heroes to assist him as he created the new realities.
One of these realities saw Kingsley-Elton become the new Spider-Man and fight crime for two years.
Since Billy Braddock was not from his universe, and Peter Parker does not have powers there, Harvey is the only Spider-Man of this reality. He ends up earning the nickname Leicester Spider. Harvey's costume is similar to that of the original Spider-Man's, except his red sections are orange, and his blue sections are purple.

Harvey's powers are identical to those of his American counterpart, but with a focus on speed rather than strength or the ability to shoot organic webbing.
