Archmund "Archie" the Fox (アーチー・ザ・フォックス Aachii za Fokkusu) is a fennec fox and great-grandfather to Vultro the Fox. He was a well-known blacksmith and adventurer of his time, being the first to uncover the Shoten Crystal during a mining expedition on Westside Island.

History
Archmund was born on South Island, the son of BLANK and BLANK Zeridia. At the time, there was a very high demand for skilled trade workers, due to the majority of the working population taking interest in the science, engineering, and medical fields. This caused his father to take up blacksmithing, a skill that he himself would start learning in his early teens.
His interest in blacksmithing eventually led to him becoming interested in mining and archelogy, leading him on many expeditions throughout his 20's and 30's. By the time he was 30, he had gone on over a dozen expeditions, including one that would uncover the Shoten Crystal.
He was a huge advocate of geothermal steam power, seeing it as one of the most viable renewable energy sources due to an increase in volcanic activity in recent years. He would push for it to be more widely adopted throughout his lifetime, managing to see it implemented as the main energy source for a handful of cities in the United Federation.
Shoten Showdown
Archie was brought to the far future by his great-grandson during the events of Shoten Showdown. After they defeat Solidus, he inquires about the technology of both Vultro and Sylvie's times, though he was unable to comprehend a lot of the advancements he was told about.
He was, however, able to leave Vultro with a parting gift: steampunk battle armor that he designed and constructed with the help of some advancements in metallurgy he was able to study. In return he was given a solar powered communicator by Sylvie, though he was only able to partially reverse engineer it.

Abilities
- Smithing: He is a highly skilled blacksmith, able to craft everything from intricate armor to powerful weapons.
- Navigation & Survival: Being a seasoned adventurer, he has very good navigation and survival skills.
Weaknesses
- Technological Ineptitude: Due to being so far out of his time period during Shoten Showdown, he has trouble keeping up both in and out of battle. This is somewhat remedied by the end of the story.
