Earth-7642, sometimes called the Crossoververse, is a reality of the Marvel multiverse in which many different heroes and characters from a variety of different multiverses coexist. Most famously, this is a frequent location of Marvel and DC Comics crossovers, though many other characters exist there.

Vultroverse

The following information is not canon to the official Marvel continuity.

Though it is never directly visited by any characters from the Vultroverse, Earth-7642's existence was discovered by Solidus the Werewolf in his quests for power. He notices an extreme concentration of cosmic energy at a single point in space and begins to study it. He discovers that this junction is the result of something from outside the universe, and that an unknown energy was leaking into the Vultroverse. He was able to decode a transmission coming through it from an unknown scientist.

As it turns out, the cosmic energy from so many intersecting realities on the scientist's home world began to trigger an incursion across a variety of connected universes, something that Solidus had detected the early signs of. The Vultroverse was one of the first to experience this event due to it being very closely linked to Earth-7642.

Only one inhabitants of this reality has been known to enter the Vultroverse: Despara. The mysterious scientist who sent the original transmission is revealed to be Dr. Otto Octavius, who despite never crossing over himself, was responsible for sending Despara and for informing Solidus the Werewolf about the Infinity Stones.

Time Compression

In Earth-7642, and many other similar realities, the passage of time is notably different. They experience time on what has called a sliding timescale. For every four to five years that passes in the Vultroverse (and the real world,) only one year passes in this reality.

The events of Story:Vultro and the Spider-Women take place in 2023, which is roughly 12,000 years in the past of the current Vultroverse. This is actually equivalent to only 3,000 years in the past of Earth-7642.

The current year of the Vultroverse, 14027 CE, is equivalent to 5021 CE in Earth-7642. If Vultro the Fox was to exist in Earth-7642, he would have been born in about 4997 CE. These numbers will update in 2021.
