Mobius is considered one of the common elements for early Sonic canon, adopted mostly in Western regions, with several Sonic TV shows, books, and comics taking place there; the original Sonic games for the Sega Mega Drive, and later the Game Gear and Master System, were also said to take place on Mobius.
In the Vultroverse, it is the established home planet of many canon Sonic characters, as well as a majority of original characters (including Vultro the Fox.) It is used interchangeably with Earth, and less commonly Sonic's World.
