Vultro the Fox (ボルトロ・ザ・フォックス Borutoro za Fokkusu) is a fennec fox that debuted in the story Planet Eilaela, the first character created from the Vultroverse.

Appearance
Appearance
Vultro is a tall, slender fennec fox, a species of fox known for their small size and very large ears. He resembles his father Obelus, also a fennec fox. His fur is mostly a cream color, with white fur on his chest and tail and dark brown on the tips of his ears and tail. He has blue-grey eyes and messy white hair that falls between his ears.
Vultro is a small, light-brown fennec fox with distinctive white tufts of fur on his chest and tail. The tips of his ears and tail are dark brown, and he has messy, medium-short white hair that falls between his large ears. His eyes are a soft blue-grey, often reflecting his alert and curious nature.

His usual attire is minimal-- a pair of white gloves and colorful high-top sneakers. This is in emulation of his role model, Sonic the Hedgehog.
He bears a strong resemblance to his father, Obelus the Fox, though his hairstyle and attire set him apart. Vultro typically wears a minimalist outfit: white gloves and a pair of red-and-blue high-top sneakers—an intentional homage to his childhood idol, Sonic the Hedgehog.

Personality
Personality
Vultro is quite adventurous, never shying from the opportunity to explore a new location or planet. He comes from a long line of explorers and adventurers dating back generations, and he follows this tradition with a passion.
Vultro is fiercely adventurous, driven by a deep-rooted desire to explore unknown places and uncover hidden truths. This wanderlust runs in his blood—he comes from a long line of explorers, and takes pride in continuing the family tradition.

He has a tendency to be short-sighted and impulsive. He more often than not does not think of the consequences of his actions, which can land him in trouble. He can also be quite aloof, being very slow to open up to new friends and acquaintances.
Impulsive by nature, Vultro often leaps before he looks, sometimes to his detriment. He struggles to consider the long-term consequences of his actions, and his decisions, while earnest, can lead to trouble. He can also be emotionally distant or aloof, taking a long time to warm up to new people.

Despite this, he is incredibly caring towards his close friends and family, particularly to his sisters Raven the Gray Wolf and Jenny the Fox. He is willing to do anything to protect them, even if his short-sighted decisions end up getting him into further trouble.
Yet beneath the impulsiveness lies a loyal and protective heart. Vultro deeply cares for those closest to him, particularly his sisters Raven the Gray Wolf and Jenny the Fox. His love for them runs deep, and he’s willing to risk everything to keep them safe—even when his recklessness makes things harder in the long run.

Childhood
Childhood
Vultro does not talk much about his early childhood. He was born on South Island, the only child to Obelus and Lily Zeridia. At the age of four, his parents disappeared overnight under mysterious circumstances. He was raised by his aunt Asha on West Side Island, never being told exactly what happened to his parents. Confused and feeling abandoned by his parents for his childhood, he ran away shortly after his eighth birthday.
Vultro was born on South Island in 0 ABV, to Obelus and Lily Zeridia. At the age of four, his parents mysteriously vanished without a trace. He was taken in by his aunt, Asha the Fox, and raised on West Side Island. Asha, gripped by a family superstition that the Zeridia bloodline was cursed, never told Vultro the full story of his parents' disappearance. Her growing fear that Vultro might be next kept her emotionally distant.

Unbeknownst to him, Asha had been preoccupied with the fear that the family was cursed, and that she or Vultro was next in line. When she learned of him running away, she had mixed feelings. Of course she wanted to continue protecting him, but being off the grid would only keep him safer from any would-be attackers. She decided to ask her cousin Darcy to find him and keep eye on him over the next few years.
Shortly after his eighth birthday, feeling isolated and unwanted, Vultro ran away. He took shelter in a cave near Green Hill Zone, where he spent his days exploring the nearby terrain. It was here that he met a mysterious gray wolf named Raven the Gray Wolf, who had also been exploring the cave systems. The two bonded quickly.

Vultro decided to live in a small cave near Green Hill Zone. He began to get familiar with the area and explore. Weeks later, barely settled in to his new home, he would witness an invasion of a Badnik army on the island. (Sonic the Hedgehog) A new friend, who he met while exploring the caves of Green Hill, managed to help him escape into the Sol dimension until it was safe to return. This incident ended up making Vultro and Raven instant best friends.
Soon after, Green Hill Zone was attacked by a Badnik army. Vultro and Raven narrowly escaped thanks to Raven’s knowledge of interdimensional travel, retreating into the Sol Dimension until the danger had passed. This incident forged a lasting friendship between the two, with Raven becoming Vultro's first true companion.

At the age of thirteen, Vultro helped his friend Wreck the Fox stop a local robot uprising, something that could be considered his first real adventure. The story documenting the adventure has since been lost, leaving many details uncertain.
By the age of thirteen, Vultro had begun to involve himself in greater adventures. Alongside his friend Wreck the Fox, he helped stop a local robot uprising—an event considered his first real heroic act. The details of this incident have since been lost, making it the subject of much speculation.

Planet Eilaela
Planet Eilaela
Itching for more adventure, Vultro spent the next two years working with Techtown scientist Tracker the Dog. They would construct a spacecraft, convincing eight of Vultro's friends to ride with him on a visit to the tropical planet Ethos. Though some were reluctant to ride in the craft, Tracker assured them of its safety and provided an inspection certificate. The events that followed have been documented in Planet Eilaela (story).
Eager to pursue his passion for exploration, Vultro spent the next two years collaborating with the eccentric Techtown scientist Tracker the Dog. Together, they built a functional spacecraft. With the promise of adventure, Vultro convinced eight of his friends to accompany him on a voyage to the tropical planet Ethos. Though there were doubts about the ship’s safety, Tracker provided a certification of inspection to ease concerns.

After crash landing on Eilaela he discovers that Solidus, the evil alter ego of his father, is still alive. He also discovers that Raven is his half-sister, along with his other friend Jenny the Fox. This inspires him to resume contact with his family and learn more about their history. He became particularly close with Darcy's daughter Annalee the Cat.
However, the journey did not go as planned. The spacecraft crash-landed on a nearby world known as Eilaela. There, Vultro discovered that his presumed-dead father, Obelus, had a sinister alter ego—Solidus—and that Solidus was still alive. Even more shocking, he learned that his friends Raven the Gray Wolf and Jenny the Fox were actually his half-sisters.

This revelation changed the course of his life, prompting Vultro to reconnect with his family and uncover the secrets of the Zeridia bloodline. He also grew close to Annalee the Cat, daughter of his cousin Darcy the Fox, who had quietly watched over him for years on Asha’s request.

Let's Go to Ethos
Let's Go to Ethos
In 22 ABV, Vultro would seek out transportation to properly visit Ethos. Coincidentally, a leopard from Ethos by the name of Lilah overhears his conversation, and agrees to take him back there. Let's Go to Ethos (story)
In 22 ABV, Vultro began seeking a more reliable way to reach the planet Ethos, hoping to complete the mission he originally intended years earlier. While asking around for transportation, he was overheard by a young leopard named Lilah the Leopard, a native of Ethos. Intrigued by his story—and perhaps by Vultro himself—Lilah offered to take him there personally. This chance meeting marked the beginning of their partnership, both romantic and exploratory.

The events of their journey are chronicled in Let's Go to Ethos (story).

Planet Etheria
In 25 ABV, Vultro and Lilah register an extreme energy reading in a remote area of space. They decide to investigate the cause of the energy surge and discover a brand new planet has appeared there. Planet Etheria (story)
In 25 ABV, Vultro and Lilah detect a massive energy spike in deep space—far beyond anything they had encountered before. Following the source, they discovered a new planet that had re-emerged into the universe after a long absence: Etheria.

Upon arrival, they found themselves in the midst of an interstellar conflict. The Horde, now led by Horde Prime, sought to reclaim Etheria and absorb its ancient magic into his galactic empire. Vultro and Lilah allied with the planet’s defenders—including Adora, Catra, and the Princess Alliance—to resist Prime’s conquest.

Though initially out of their depth, Vultro's speed and cleverness proved vital in disrupting Horde communications, while Lilah’s tactical instincts helped fortify Etheria’s defenses. The battle tested their bond, and by the end of the campaign, they left Etheria forever changed, with new allies and a broader understanding of the multiverse’s fragility.

Vultro and the Spider-Women
Shortly after Planet Etheria, and in hot pursuit of Despara, Vultro and Lilah learn that she has escaped to Earth-7642. After then learning of the time travel scheme of Dr. Robotnik, they travel back to the 21st century, recruiting the help of a local superhero to attempt to stop him from obtaining a mysterious set of gems. Vultro and the Spider-Women (story)
Not long after the events on Etheria, Vultro began tracking a fugitive known as Despara—an apparent clone of Adora from an alternate reality, now at large across the multiverse. His pursuit led him and Lilah to Earth-7642, a crossover nexus world housing both Marvel and DC elements.

There, they uncovered a plot by Dr. Robotnik, who had traveled to the 21st century to collect a powerful and mysterious set of gems—Infinity Stones. Realizing the scale of the threat, Vultro allied with a local hero, Mary Jane Watson, who had recently acquired spider-like powers.

With MJ’s help, the trio sought to track Despara and stop Robotnik’s time-meddling before it could alter history irreversibly. The mission drew in other Spider-Women and culminated in a chaotic, high-stakes clash atop Oscorp Tower.

Vultro Meets Shizuka Joestar!
Vultro Meets Shizuka Joestar!
With Robotnik having obtained the Infinity Emeralds, he triggers the Dreamcast Wave, beginning a catastrophic incursion. This causes Vultro to encounter Shizuka Joestar, a visitor from an alternate universe. They must work together to undo the Dreamcast Wave, and restore the multiverse. Vultro Meets Shizuka Joestar (story)
At the climax of Vultro and the Spider-Women, Robotnik successfully gathered the Infinity Stones. Despite Vultro and his allies’ best efforts, he activated the stones in a catastrophic display of power. The resulting surge—later named the Dreamcast Wave—shattered dimensional boundaries and began a slow-motion incursion event across countless realities.

Vultro, still stranded in the 21st century, watched in horror as the skyline of New York City fractured like glass. Buildings shimmered, timelines overlapped, and anomalies surged across the sky. In the chaos, two unfamiliar figures materialized—Shizuka Joestar and her brother, Josuke Higashikata, thrown violently into the Vultroverse from their own timeline.

The meeting was accidental, but not without purpose. Shizuka and Vultro quickly realized that the Dreamcast Wave was creating a cascading breakdown of cause and effect. Alternate versions of familiar places blinked in and out of existence. Entire planets phased through one another. Together, they investigated the origin point—Robotnik’s Snap—and worked to untangle the metaphysical consequences.

While Josuke stayed behind in an effort to protect civilians in the city, Shizuka teamed up with Vultro to try and stabilize the wave. Their brief but intense partnership introduced Vultro to the concept of Stands, metaphysical manifestations of a person’s will, which would later influence his own future development.

Shoten Showdown
Shoten Showdown
Bad Future
The year is now 110 ABV. Long after the Dreamcast Wave, the timeline had quietly fractured.

Years later, in a desperate last resort to defeat Solidus, Vultro travels through time to collect his grandfather, great-grandfather, and a younger version of himself. They plan to combine the Infinity Emeralds with the Shoten Crystal to erase Solidus once and for all. However, Solidus turns this around on them by setting a trap and killing the younger Vultro. This creates an alternate timeline in which no one is left to stop Solidus' rise to power. This altered timeline begins a chain of events that eventually destroys the future of the Zeridia family.
In a version of the future later called the Bad Future, Solidus rose to power unchecked. Vultro had died decades earlier under mysterious circumstances, and no one remained to oppose his slow conquest of the multiverse. The Zeridia family fell into obscurity—scattered, hunted, and forgotten.

In the far future of this alternate timeline, Raven's great-granddaughter Sylvie Summers traces the events of her family's hardship back to that battle. Traveling through time herself with a homemade time watch, she manages to save Vultro by sacrificing herself instead. This unwinds the bad future, paradoxically undoing her own death in creating the new Good Future.
But one descendant refused to let the legacy die.

Good Future
Sylvie Summers, the great-granddaughter of Raven, uncovered the truth: the timeline had branched due to an unresolved paradox, and her present was not inevitable. She traced the divergence back to the untimely death of Vultro in the early years of the Dreamcast Wave. With this knowledge, she constructed a prototype timewatch and set out to fix what had been broken.

With the timeline restored and the "bad future" erased, Vultro would go on to marry Lilah, later having two children: Lily Raven the Leopard, and Eltra the Fox.
Rather than simply saving Vultro, Sylvie traveled to key points in time and recruited three generations of the Zeridia line:

Archmund Zeridia, Vultro’s great-grandfather and a pioneer of early energy technology.

Obelus Zeridia, Vultro’s father and the origin of the family’s complicated legacy.

And Vultro himself, at the height of his power.

Together, the Zeridia bloodline formed a temporal strike team with one goal: defeat Solidus and undo the chain of destruction he had set into motion.

Their final battle took place outside the normal flow of time—an abstract, collapsing realm where history, memory, and identity all blurred. In the end, Sylvie and her ancestors succeeded in defeating Solidus, erasing the Bad Future and stabilizing the timeline. The paradox that had claimed Vultro's life was undone, allowing him to survive and return to his own time.

Sylvie, having fulfilled her mission, faded back into possibility—her existence technically overwritten, yet preserved by the ripple of her actions.

Relationships
Relationships
*Raven the Gray Wolf: Being his first and oldest friend, Vultro is very close to Raven. They met in Green Hill Zone when he was eight, and were soon best friends. She is the first one Vultro asks to go on the adventure to Ethos. They later discover that they are half-siblings, sharing a father.
*Raven the Gray Wolf: Vultro’s first and oldest friend, Raven has been by his side since childhood. They met in the caves beneath Green Hill Zone when Vultro was just eight years old and quickly became inseparable. She helped him escape a Badnik invasion by guiding him into the Sol Dimension, saving his life. Years later, during the events of Planet Eilaela, they would discover they were half-siblings—both children of Obelus. That revelation only deepened their bond. Vultro trusts Raven more than almost anyone and often turns to her for counsel.
*Wreck the Fox: Due to his chaotic nature, Wreck's personality sometimes clashes with Vultro's. However, they maintain a friendly relationship. Vultro met Wreck sometime prior to the events of The Secret of Robots. Later, both he and his girlfriend Frankie the Bat agree to travel with Vultro to Ethos, where they discover that Wreck has a hidden connection with the Sol dimension.

*Jenny the Fox: After meeting Vultro via a trip to the Sol dimension with Raven, she is invited to come along with them to Ethos. On Eilaela, they learn that they are half brother and sister (along with Raven,) causing them to become even closer over the coming years, and begin to treat each other as family.
*Jenny the Fox: Vultro met Jenny shortly after meeting Raven. She was another traveler to the Sol Dimension, and the three of them formed a tight-knit group. During their time on Eilaela, Jenny and Vultro learned they were also half-siblings. Though their relationship began as a friendship, the family connection made it stronger. Jenny is one of the few people who can read Vultro’s emotional state even when he tries to hide it.
*Mackenzie the Tiger: Vultro met Mac on Eilaela while Mac was researching some interesting energy signatures on the planet. Though he didn't mesh with the group immediately, Vultro's new acquaintance Shimmer smoothed things out. Mac ended up helping in the final battle against Solidus, proving to be a powerful ally.

*Lilah the Leopard: Lilah caught Vultro's eye from the moment he met her. She was adventurous, outspoken, and incredibly kind. The two would begin dating and would eventually become partners. He loves her very deeply and sees her as the perfect friend and exploration partner.
*Wreck the Fox: Wreck’s chaotic nature contrasts sharply with Vultro’s idealism, but the two share a mutual respect. They first met when Vultro was 13, and bonded while stopping a localized robot uprising—Vultro’s first recorded adventure. Wreck and his partner Frankie the Bat later joined Vultro on the Ethos expedition, where they uncovered Wreck had a hidden connection to the Sol Dimension. Though their dynamic is sometimes volatile, they remain close allies.
* Adora

* Catra
*Mackenzie the Tiger: Vultro encountered Mackenzie—"Mac"—on the surface of Eilaela, where he was researching unstable energy signatures. Initially a loner who didn’t quite mesh with the group, Mac was brought into the fold by Shimmer the Hedgehog, who helped bridge the social gap. Mac would later prove crucial in the final battle against Solidus. Vultro respects his analytical mind and considers him a quiet but steadfast ally.
* Shizuka Joestar

* Mary Jane Watson
*Lilah the Leopard: Adventurous, outspoken, and warmhearted, Lilah captivated Vultro from the moment they met. Their relationship began during Let’s Go to Ethos, and deepened through shared experiences, especially during the battle for Etheria and the multiversal chaos of the Dreamcast Wave. She is not just Vultro’s partner in romance but his equal in exploration. In the Good Future timeline, the two are married and have two children: Lily Raven and Eltra.

* Shizuka Joestar: An interdimensional visitor pulled into the Vultroverse during the Dreamcast Wave, Shizuka shared an intense, albeit brief, partnership with Vultro. Her calm intellect and Stand knowledge were critical in helping him navigate the metaphysical chaos of the incursion. Though their time together was short, Shizuka left a lasting impression on Vultro—especially her thoughts on destiny and the burden of legacy.

* Mary Jane Watson: While in the 21st century, Vultro crossed paths with Mary Jane, who had recently developed spider powers. The two fought side-by-side during the conflict with Robotnik. MJ’s no-nonsense attitude and sharp instincts impressed Vultro, and the pair quickly developed a rapport. She became a bridge between him and the unfamiliar culture of the past, and her help was instrumental in delaying Robotnik’s acquisition of the Infinity Stones.

Abilities
Abilities
Since a young age, Vultro has been honing his running skills. He is the fastest out of all his friends, and his light build allows him to jump high, scale tall obstacles, and fit into tight spaces. He is not a big fan of hand-to-hand combat, and if forced to fight his speed is usually his biggest strength.
Vultro is not a traditional fighter; his strengths lie in speed, adaptability, and resourcefulness. These traits, combined with the latent power of the Shoten Crystal and later metaphysical phenomena, make him a formidable—if unconventional—hero.

Natural Abilities
Since early childhood, Vultro has trained his body more through exploration than combat. He is the fastest and most dexteritous among his peers, capable of scaling vertical cliffs, navigating dense jungle, and sprinting across difficult terrain with ease. His small, lightweight frame allows him to slip through tight spaces and move with remarkable agility.

While he dislikes violence, Vultro is not defenseless. He often avoids direct confrontation in favor of outmaneuvering his enemies, using speed, quick thinking, or even environmental manipulation to escape or disarm foes.

Vultro has a critical weakness: he cannot swim. He sinks like a stone in water and will instinctively panic when submerged.

Shoten Form
Shoten Form
Using the power of the Shoten crystal, a mysterious stone found on the planet Eilaela, Vultro can assume a more powerful form. Comparable to a Super form, Vultro gains a massive boost in speed and strength, and the ability to float. Unlike a Super form, however, the user is still vulnerable to some close-range attacks. His fur glows a bright shade of purple, and his chest fur turns a platinum color. Additionally, he becomes fast enough to create a vacuum around an enclosed space, effectively suffocating anyone inside.
The Shoten Form is a powerful transformation triggered by the Shoten Crystal, a mysterious artifact discovered on the planet Eilaela. When activated, the crystal channels its energy into the user's body, enhancing physical capabilities far beyond normal limits.

It was thought for years that only foxes in Vultro's family were capable of taking on this form, until it was discovered that Vultro's sister Raven, a wolf, could as well. Later, both of his children also managed to take this form.
In Shoten Form:

It is later discovered that the reason for this is that the crystal was enchanted by Vulpe Remedius, a fennec fox that lived on Eilaela centuries earlier. In an effort to protect the power from abuse, he enchanted the crystal to only be usable by those with the genes of his own species.
* Vultro’s speed and strength are massively amplified.
* His fur glows violet, and his chest fur turns a gleaming platinum white.
* He gains limited flight via levitation.
* He can move fast enough to generate low-pressure zones, creating vacuums in enclosed areas.

Unlike a traditional "Super" form, Shoten Form does not grant full invincibility. Though enhanced, the user remains vulnerable to close-range attacks and exhaustion if the transformation is held too long.

Originally thought to be limited to foxes of Vultro’s bloodline, the form was later used by his half-sister Raven and eventually by his descendants. This led to the discovery that the crystal had been enchanted centuries ago by Vulpe Remedius, an ancient fennec fox who encoded the crystal’s magic to respond only to those carrying fennec genetics—his way of preventing misuse.

Stand
Stand
After meeting Shizuka Joestar and learning about the existence of Stands, Vultro inquires whether it would be possible for him to obtain one. Shizuka explains that according to her brother Josuke, it is highly dangerous to expose oneself to the virus that triggers the emergence of a Stand, as it can easily kill him. After some further discussion, he was given a sample of the virus under the condition it was used strictly for research purposes.
During the Dreamcast Wave arc, Vultro encountered Shizuka Joestar and learned of Stands—manifestations of a person’s inner essence, usually unlocked through great stress or a Stand virus.

Upon returning to the present day, Vultro began to research the sample, and reverse engineered the method by which the virus caused a Stand to emerge. He was able to run virtual reality simulations on his own DNA, which led to the discovery of his theoretical Stand known as Glass Animal (グラス・アニマル Gurasu Animaru).
Though warned of the dangers, Vultro was fascinated by the concept. Upon returning to his own time, he obtained a small research sample of the virus (under strict conditions) and began studying its behavior. Through simulation and DNA modeling, he discovered that—if awakened—his Stand would be named Glass Animal (グラス・アニマル Gurasu Animaru).

He would first notice that glass objects and windows would crack seemingly at random. After some time, he would then discover that Glass Animal could emit resonant frequencies into nearby materials. It could shatter glass, warp metal, and cause buildings to sway, among other things.
Glass Animal possesses the ability to:
* Emit resonant frequencies into nearby materials.
* Shatter or warp glass, metal, and fragile structures.
* Cause buildings to sway or vibrate at dangerous harmonics.

Due to the uncertainty of whether Vultro would survive the virus, he never actually went through with exposing himself to it. However, the sample would later be stolen by Jason Johansson, and released into the Vultroverse.
Vultro never exposed the virus to himself due to the known risk of death. However, the sample was later stolen by Joker the Jaguar and unintentionally released into the wider Vultroverse, raising questions about who else might develop a Stand as a result.

Weaknesses
Weaknesses
Since he is not keen to fight unless absolutely necessary, he can be overpowered in battle by brute strength. This is especially true the faster his enemies are, as he relies heavily on his speed as an advantage. He is also incapable of swimming, sinking to the bottom of any body of water.
Though powerful and quick, Vultro has several key limitations:

* Aversion to Combat: Vultro is not a natural fighter and actively avoids conflict when possible. His distaste for violence can leave him vulnerable in situations where force is required.

* Physical Fragility: Compared to many of his allies and enemies, Vultro lacks brute strength and endurance. If he’s caught off guard or cornered, he can be overpowered quickly.

* Reliance on Speed: His entire fighting style hinges on mobility. If grounded, restrained, or disoriented, Vultro is at a major disadvantage.

* Cannot Swim: Perhaps his most notorious weakness—Vultro sinks instantly in water and has no swimming ability. He experiences instinctual panic when submerged, making water-based environments especially dangerous.

* Overexertion in Shoten Form: Prolonged use of Shoten Form puts immense strain on his body. If pushed too far, it risks collapse or unconsciousness.

Vultro the Fox (ボルトロ・ザ・フォックス Borutoro za Fokkusu) is a light-brown fennec fox and the very first original character created for the Vultroverse. He debuted in the story Planet Eilaela, and has since become a central figure in many of the universe’s major events. Vultro is known for his boundless curiosity, quick feet, and the legacy he carries as a Zeridia.

Appearance

Vultro is a small, light-brown fennec fox with distinctive white tufts of fur on his chest and tail. The tips of his ears and tail are dark brown, and he has messy, medium-short white hair that falls between his large ears. His eyes are a soft blue-grey, often reflecting his alert and curious nature.

Personality

Vultro is fiercely adventurous, driven by a deep-rooted desire to explore unknown places and uncover hidden truths. This wanderlust runs in his blood—he comes from a long line of explorers, and takes pride in continuing the family tradition.

Impulsive by nature, Vultro often leaps before he looks, sometimes to his detriment. He struggles to consider the long-term consequences of his actions, and his decisions, while earnest, can lead to trouble. He can also be emotionally distant or aloof, taking a long time to warm up to new people.

History

Childhood

Vultro was born on South Island in 0 ABV, to Obelus and Lily Zeridia. At the age of four, his parents mysteriously vanished without a trace. He was taken in by his aunt, Asha the Fox, and raised on West Side Island. Asha, gripped by a family superstition that the Zeridia bloodline was cursed, never told Vultro the full story of his parents' disappearance. Her growing fear that Vultro might be next kept her emotionally distant.

Eager to pursue his passion for exploration, Vultro spent the next two years collaborating with the eccentric Techtown scientist Tracker the Dog. Together, they built a functional spacecraft. With the promise of adventure, Vultro convinced eight of his friends to accompany him on a voyage to the tropical planet Ethos. Though there were doubts about the ship’s safety, Tracker provided a certification of inspection to ease concerns.

In 22 ABV, Vultro began seeking a more reliable way to reach the planet Ethos, hoping to complete the mission he originally intended years earlier. While asking around for transportation, he was overheard by a young leopard named Lilah the Leopard, a native of Ethos. Intrigued by his story—and perhaps by Vultro himself—Lilah offered to take him there personally. This chance meeting marked the beginning of their partnership, both romantic and exploratory.

The events of their journey are chronicled in Let's Go to Ethos (story).

Planet Etheria

The year is now 110 ABV. Long after the Dreamcast Wave, the timeline had quietly fractured.

But one descendant refused to let the legacy die.

 • Raven the Gray Wolf: Vultro’s first and oldest friend, Raven has been by his side since childhood.
 • Jenny the Fox: Vultro met Jenny shortly after meeting Raven.
 • Wreck the Fox: Wreck’s chaotic nature contrasts sharply with Vultro’s idealism, but the two share a mutual respect.
 • Mackenzie the Tiger: Vultro encountered Mackenzie—"Mac"—on the surface of Eilaela, where he was researching unstable energy signatures.
 • Lilah the Leopard: Adventurous, outspoken, and warmhearted, Lilah captivated Vultro from the moment they met.
 • Shizuka Joestar: An interdimensional visitor pulled into the Vultroverse during the Dreamcast Wave, Shizuka shared an intense, albeit brief, partnership with Vultro. Her calm intellect and Stand knowledge were critical in helping him navigate the metaphysical chaos of the incursion. Though their time together was short, Shizuka left a lasting impression on Vultro—especially her thoughts on destiny and the burden of legacy.
 • Mary Jane Watson: While in the 21st century, Vultro crossed paths with Mary Jane, who had recently developed spider powers.

Abilities

Shoten Form

The Shoten Form is a powerful transformation triggered by the Shoten Crystal, a mysterious artifact discovered on the planet Eilaela. When activated, the crystal channels its energy into the user's body, enhancing physical capabilities far beyond normal limits.

In Shoten Form:

 • Vultro’s speed and strength are massively amplified.
 • His fur glows violet, and his chest fur turns a gleaming platinum white.
 • He gains limited flight via levitation.
 • He can move fast enough to generate low-pressure zones, creating vacuums in enclosed areas.

Stand

During the Dreamcast Wave arc, Vultro encountered Shizuka Joestar and learned of Stands—manifestations of a person’s inner essence, usually unlocked through great stress or a Stand virus.

Glass Animal possesses the ability to:

 • Emit resonant frequencies into nearby materials.
 • Shatter or warp glass, metal, and fragile structures.
 • Cause buildings to sway or vibrate at dangerous harmonics.

Vultro never exposed the virus to himself due to the known risk of death. However, the sample was later stolen by Joker the Jaguar and unintentionally released into the wider Vultroverse, raising questions about who else might develop a Stand as a result.

Weaknesses

Though powerful and quick, Vultro has several key limitations:

 • Aversion to Combat: Vultro is not a natural fighter and actively avoids conflict when possible. His distaste for violence can leave him vulnerable in situations where force is required.
 • Physical Fragility: Compared to many of his allies and enemies, Vultro lacks brute strength and endurance. If he’s caught off guard or cornered, he can be overpowered quickly.
 • Reliance on Speed: His entire fighting style hinges on mobility. If grounded, restrained, or disoriented, Vultro is at a major disadvantage.
 • Cannot Swim: Perhaps his most notorious weakness—Vultro sinks instantly in water and has no swimming ability. He experiences instinctual panic when submerged, making water-based environments especially dangerous.
 • Overexertion in Shoten Form: Prolonged use of Shoten Form puts immense strain on his body. If pushed too far, it risks collapse or unconsciousness.

Appearances

Trivia

 • Vultro’s full name is Vultro Milo Zeridia, as confirmed by his aunt Asha. However, he typically goes by Vultro the Fox—an homage to the naming style of his childhood hero, Sonic the Hedgehog.
 • He was the very first character created in the Vultroverse, originating in 2013.
 • His updated character design was created by Courtney Thomas in 2019, who also modernized the appearance of his sister, Raven the Gray Wolf.
 • Despite being canonically fast, Vultro has a terrible sense of direction and often gets lost mid-adventure.
 • His dislike of combat is not just a personality quirk-- it’s a narrative choice inspired by his creator’s belief in nonviolence as a strength.
