Shizuka Josephine Joestar (静・ジョースター Shizuka Jōsutā) is a human and inhabitant of an alternate Earth met in Vultro Meets Shizuka Joestar. She possesses a unique spiritual ability called Porcelain.
On her native Earth, and at the age of only six months, Shizuka was left abandoned in the Japanese town of Morioh. She was discovered by an elderly man named Joseph Joestar, who subsequently adopted and raised her in New York City.
Appearance
Shizuka is a young adult of an athletic build, sporting short cyan hair and golden-brown eyes.
Her outfit consists of a blue jacket over a yellow star shirt, along with purple pants and boots. Star shapes are a prominent feature of her attire; her jacket has a star shaped opening, and her pants feature star emblems near the ankles. She also wears a pair of dark sunglasses originally given to her by her father Joseph.
History
Shizuka was born in Morioh, Japan to unknown parents, sometime in late 1998. She possessed a secret ability, then called Achtung Baby, which can turn herself and her close surroundings invisible. Unfortunately, she was too young to understand how to control its power and would turn things invisible when upset or scared. This may have led to her abandonment when she was only six months old.
Upon being discovered by Joseph Joestar, she took an immediate liking to him. She would only remain calm (and visible) when in his presence and stayed with him during his entire visit to Morioh. Though Joseph was nearly 80 years old, he decided to adopt her and bring her home to New York City to live with himself and his wife Suzi Q Joestar.
Things remained relatively uneventful for most of her childhood, though she would slowly learn to master Achtung Baby's abilities and control her invisibility on her own. At some point, she would decide to rename her stand to Porcelain.
On Christmas Day of 2016, her mother passed away of a heart attack, her father already bedridden due to his age. Unfortunately, he too would pass away only months later, leaving her devastated and without parents. Her adoptive older brother, Josuke Higashkita, agreed to temporarily take over Joseph's business and moved to New York shortly after.
In 2022, Shizuka and her brother Josuke are warped to the Vultroverse, meeting Vultro the Fox who was still in the 21st century thanks to Vultro and the Spider-Women (story). They learn of a massive collision between a handful of interconnected universes, which threatens to destroy them all. The collision of her reality is ultimately reversed, sending her and Josuke back to their world. However, a DNA sample taken from Shizuka and Josuke would later form the basis for Stands to exist in the Vultroverse.
